The interior theme is upscale and fancy. It can get busy on a weekend, so a reservation is definitely recommended, but we got lucky and they were able to accommodate us without one. We ordered a variety of hibachi plates: my wife had the vegetarian, my son and I both got the chicken, and we celebrated our daughter's birthday with the salmon. Everything was phenomenal—and coming from someone used to the incredible sushi and food scene in L.A., that's saying a lot! The service was attentive and top-notch. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality makes it completely worth it.

My daughter recommended SAVÚ while I was visiting Charlotte, and I’m so glad she did. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is beautiful. Every space has its own vibe, and the rooftop was definitely the highlight. The views of Charlotte were amazing, especially while enjoying dinner. We started with the king crab sushi rice and Asian wings—both were outstanding. For my entrée, I had the hibachi chicken, and it was just as good. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We also tried their signature flaming shot with the cinnamon, apple, and sugar cube, and it was such a fun experience. This isn’t a budget restaurant, but you get what you pay for. The food, drinks, service, and overall experience made it worth every dollar. If you’re in Charlotte or just visiting, I’d definitely recommend adding SAVÚ to your list. You won’t be disappointed.

My recent visit to Savu was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful atmosphere and decor. The dim lighting created the perfect ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a date night, girls' night out, or any special occasion. The food was absolutely exquisite—easily a 10/10! Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. What truly made our experience unforgettable was our waitress, Tylah. She was exceptional from start to finish. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and she went above and beyond to make the occasion feel special. Tylah was prompt, informative, attentive, fun, and incredibly personable. Her positive energy and outstanding customer service elevated our entire dining experience. Savu has definitely earned a loyal customer, and I will absolutely be requesting Tylah the next time I dine there. If you're looking for delicious food, great vibes, and top-tier service, Savu is the place to be!

The ambiance was upscale and lavish, which made for a great overall experience. The crab fried rice was really good, and the spicy rock shrimp was also flavorful and came in a generous portion. Our server Qui, was amazing, very attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout. The hookah was on point, and the lychee martini was a highlight as well. Overall, a great spot for food, drinks, and atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Savu in Uptown Charlotte is an absolute must! The space is incredibly cool and hip, and the service was impeccable. Our server, Janae (sp?), was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening even more enjoyable. They made a fantastic dirty martini and a plus, blue cheese olives!! 🫒 The food was phenomenal. The spicy rock shrimp was creamy, crunchy, and full of flavor. The Black Label porterhouse was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the Golden Geisha sushi roll had a flawless balance of flavors. Loved the furikaki fries too! Every dish was beautifully presented. The highlight of the night was the fire dancer and a glass of Prosecco and a surprise happy birthday song from the staff—what an unforgettable touch! I can’t wait to go back.
